The Biafra Nations League (BnL) has issued a stern warning to Nigeria’s government and courts on the protracted detention of ‘Biafrans’ in different jails and detention centers around the country.
The organization stated that the government and legal institutions in the country would not allow extended adjournments in order to disappoint Biafrans.
In response to the April 14 adjournment of the trial of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, BnL deputy leader Ebuta Takon told media in Ikom, Cross River State, on Monday (IPOB).
The separatist organization emphasized that the court, as the final hope of the ordinary man, should not allow itself to be used as a tool of intimidation.
“Delayed justice is justice denied. They’re stalling because they have complete control over all of the courts.
We will not allow our people to be held in custody to suffer and be frustrated,” he stated.
“We’ll devise a method that will pose a significant difficulty for them, and they won’t know how to deal with it.”
BnL also claimed that it is quickly becoming a difficulty and a threat to doing business in the Gulf of Guinea.
It also bragged of having direct influence over several terrorist organizations, like the Bakassi Peninsula’s ‘Black Marines.’
