According to Anaedoonline.ng, presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has backed Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for a second term in office.
Tinubu, a former governor of the state, endorsed the incumbent state leader and his deputy, Obafemi Hamzat, on Friday to continue to promote the state’s affairs for another four years.
Sanwo-support Olu’s as Lagos governor for a second term by Tinubu was verified by his Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Gboyega Akosile, in a social media post on Friday, according to Anaedoonline.ng.

Akosile rushed to Twitter to upload a video footage of Tinubu and the two politicians raising their hands in front of a throng.
He captioned: “Asiwaju @officialABAT officially endorsed Governor @jidesanwoolu and deputy @drobafemihamzat for second term.”

Meanwhile, Akosile had in another post quoted Sanwo-Olu as saying that Tinubu purchased the second term governorship nomination form of the All Progressives Congress for him.
“Asiwaju Tinubu paid for my second term nomination and expression of interest forms to run for second term, says Sanwo-Olu,” Akosile tweeted with a picture of Bola Tinubu speaking.
