Femi Fani-Kayode, a former minister of aviation, responded to Bola Tinubu’s visit to Rivers State to officially open various projects completed by the Nyesom Wike administration.
The president-elect reportedly traveled to the region on Wednesday to commission the Rumuokwuta/Rumuola Road Flyover in Port Harcourt, the state capital.
Fani-Kayode referred to the visit of the president-elect Wike to the South-South state as the nicest handshake across the Niger in a tweet sent on Wednesday via his verified Twitter account.

The visit, according to the All Progressives Congress (APC) chief, marks the start of a new Nigeria in which all regions of the nation will be treated with kindness, decency, and respect.
He wrote: “The best handshake across the Niger takes place today when President-elect @officialABAT visits Gov. Nyesome Wike in Port Harcourt. This is the beginning of a new Nigeria in which every part of the country, both North and South, will be treated with love, respect, and compassion.”
