BUA Cement Plc. has recently unveiled its intentions to reduce the price of cement in Nigeria, aiming to lower it from the current N5,500 to a range between N3,000 and N3,500. The Chairman of the company, Abdul Samad Rabiu, made this significant announcement following his meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the State House in Abuja.

Rabiu highlighted that this price reduction initiative is part of BUA Cement’s commitment to supporting the Federal Government’s efforts to stabilize the prices of essential commodities in the country. However, this price reduction will be implemented once the company opens two new cement plants, each with an operating capacity of 3 million tons. These plants are scheduled to be commissioned by the end of the year.
During his statement, Rabiu expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for receiving him and discussed the company’s ongoing developments and future plans.
