Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a presidential candidate and the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), met with Senator Abdullahi Adamu, a candidate for the party’s chairmanship position.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, Tinubu met with the former governor of Nasarawa State behind closed doors at his mansion in Abuja, the nation’s capital, on Thursday.
The former Lagos governor is said to have met with Adamu to discuss his candidacy for president of the ruling party in 2023 and the party’s national convention, which is set to take place on Saturday.

The two leaders have yet to issue a statement on the meeting as of the time of reporting this article.
Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari hosted Tinubu and other party founder fathers on Thursday night.
Prior to the party’s national convention on March 26th, the President continues to consult with party stakeholders.
Bisi Akande, the party’s first Interim Chairman, was in attendance, as was Ogbonnaya Onu, the Minister of Science and Technology, Rochas Okorocha, the lawmaker for Imo West Senatorial district, Ibrahim Shekarau, and Aliyu Wamako, the former Governor of Sokoto State.
Governors Nasir El-Rufai (Kaduna), Aminu Masari (Katsina), and Rotimi Amaechi, Minister of Transportation, are among those attending the event.

Mai Mala Buni, the ruling party’s caretaker chairman, and Boss Mustapha, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, were also present.
The dinner was fixed by President Buhari to appreciate the critical stakeholders for their continued support to his administration.
It is also expected that issues of leadership and crisis in the party were discussed during the dinner.
