President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday received the President of FIFA, Gianni Infantino and the CAF President, Patrice Motsepe at the Presidential Villa.
The FIFA President during the visit to the State House, presented a number 10 jersey, a FIFA logo, and a football.
The No. 10 jersey is mostly worn by icons in football who are greatly skilled.

Notable footballers across the world who have worn the number 10 jerseys are Pele, Diego Maradona, Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldinho, and Lionel Messi.
The meeting had in attendance the minister of youth and sports, Sunday Dare, and the President of Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick.
Infantino and Motsepe had earlier attended the start of the Aisha Buhari Cup on Wednesday in Lagos State.
CAF in a statement noted that its president, will also be meeting with different stakeholders in Nigeria to discuss the advancement of football in Africa, in particular women’s football development.
The competition was attended by the Ghana FA President Kurt Okraku and Mali FA President Mamoutou Toure.

The competition features women’s national teams from Nigeria, Mali, Cameroon, Ghana, Morocco, and South Africa featuring some of Africa’s top women footballers.
