The time has come, according to Daniel Okoh, President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), for Nigerians to vote moral candidates into office in order to bring back the nation’s sanity.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, the Christian figure spoke on the upcoming 2023 general elections while a guest at Paul Nwachukwu’s 75th birthday party on Sunday. Nwachukwu is the General Overseer of Grace of God International.
Before the elections, Okoh bemoaned the segregation of Christians in society when speaking at the church’s headquarters in Anambra.

He warned church leaders in all denominations to urge their members to participate in politics while focusing on serving God from the pulpit.
“If we really want to serve God and represent His purpose in this country, then Christians must get involved,” Okoh said.
He emphasized that in order to bring about the transformation Nigeria wants, it is essential to place the virtuous in political positions.
According to Okoh, the faithful need to be more interested in the procedures that produce those in positions of power.
Noting that Nigeria needs a God-fearing president in 2023, he urged Christians all over the world to band together in order to exert influence over the selection of candidates for public office.

The CAN leader emphasized that it had reached the stage where people realized they were fighting the same enemy.
“To tackle the enemy, we must make sure we break down the walls of division.
“We must come together in unity, close ranks as a united force and make the necessary changes in our country,” The Sun quoted Okoh as saying.
