Prominent investigative journalist David Hundeyin has drawn attention to the suspected demolition of Igbo-owned buildings in Lekki by Tinubu’s land grabbers through his X platform.
Hundeyin issued a warning, saying that people who implicitly supported the destruction of Igbo-owned property in Lekki might not be sympathetic when similar situations happened in places like Obalende and Ojuelegba.
These land grabbers have supposedly had aspirations for these places, according to Hundeyin, and the recent demolitions in Lekki might lay the stage for other acts.

He stated, “the people who are secretly happy to watch Tinubu’s land grabbers demolishing Igbo-owned buildings in Lekki should not expect any sympathy when Obalende and Ojuelegba enter it.
“These land grabbers have long had their eyes on those places. Now they have precedent,” Hundeyin concluded.
