Gabriela Cavallin, Antony’s ex-girlfriend, said that the Manchester United winger, who transferred to the club from Ajax for €95 million on August 30, 2022, abused her and hurt her physically while they were dating.
She further asserted that Antony assaulted her and sexually assaulted her when she was expecting, damaging her breast implant and injuring her.
She claims that the 23-year-old Brazil international threatened to throw her out of a moving car because their relationship turned poisonous.
Gabriela Cavallin provided authorities in Brazil and England with a number of pieces of proof to support her assertions.
On Monday, September 4, 2023, Gabriela revealed to the Brazilian publication UOL how terrible her relationship with Antony was, setting off the storm.

Brazilian model, 22, reportedly stated: “I was genuinely afraid that I wouldn’t be able to leave the house.
“Antony locked the door and wouldn’t let me go out. I had my finger open, all hurt. He broke my things, and took my passport.”
Contrary to Gabriela Cavallin’s allegations, Antony has stated that he did not physically assault his ex-girlfriend, however he has acknowledged that there were verbal taunts on both sides.
“I can say with confidence that the accusations are false,”Antony’s statement read.
“My relationship with Ms. Gabriela was tumultuous, with verbal offenses from both sides, but I never practiced any physical aggression.”
In response to the incident, Brazil’s football officials declared in a statement on Monday that Antony must be removed from the national team until the conclusion of the ongoing inquiries into the assault controversy.

“In light of the facts which came to light on Monday concerning Manchester United player Anthony, which must be investigated, and to safeguard the alleged victim, the player, the Brazilian national team, and the CBF, the organization informs that Antony has been removed from the Brazilian national team.”
Gabriel Jesus, a forward for Arsenal who scored in his team’s 3-1 victory over Manchester United last weekend, has taken Antony’s spot. Antony, who has two goals and two assists in 16 games for Brazil, has been replaced.
Antony will therefore be absent from Brazil’s matches against Bolivia on September 9 and Peru on September 13.
As of the time this news was published, Manchester United, who just released Mason Greenwood due to domestic abuse, has not released an official statement regarding the Antony assault issue.
