Following reports that Canadian musician Drake was arrested in Sweden, Drake’s crew has responded to refute the charges.
Unverified rumours circulating on social media on Thursday night claimed that the rapper had been arrested by local police at a Stockholm nightclub.
According to the reports, the rapper and his security were arrested for illegally possessing cannabis.

His team categorically tells THR that the Grammy winner was in his hotel in the Swedish capital and had not been arrested.
The rapper, who documented his movement in a series of Instagram posts, landed at Sweden’s Arlanda airport on Wednesday lunchtime.
