The Ebonyi State Police Command has revealed that four people were murdered in an attack on the Nigerian Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) facility in the state on Tuesday.
DSP Loveth Odah, a police spokesperson who verified the event, claimed security agents killed two of the gunmen, while others fled with injuries in the Ntezi incident.
“Unfortunately, one of the cops was slain, as was a patient at the NDLEA rehabilitation clinic.

“Security officials are still looking for some of the shooters who were injured in the woods,” she claimed.
The assailants were also found with two guns and additional ammo, according to the spokeswoman.
“Other items recovered include: 140 rounds of K2 ammunition, 36 rounds of GPMG live ammunition, 30 rounds of Ak 47 rounds of ammunition, a 4 Runner jeep, motorcycles, military and police uniforms, charms amongst others,” she said.
An Officer of NDLEA, who preferred anonymity, also said four persons were killers in the attack.
“Security agencies repelled the attack on our office, located at Ntezi, Ishíelu local government area of the state around 2pm on Tuesday,” the Officer said.
