Eden Hazard declared his retirement from professional football, and the English Premier League (EPL), UEFA Champions League (UCL), and former Chelsea midfielder Danny Drinkwater all responded.
At the age of 32, Hazard announced his retirement from football on Tuesday morning.
The Belgian insisted it was time for him to retire from the game and said that he wanted to spend more time with his loved ones and try new things off the pitch.

Reacting, UCL, in a tweet via its X account, wrote: “Thanks for the memories, Eden Hazard.”
Similarly, EPL tweeted, “Eden Hazard has announced his retirement from football. The Belgian’s seven-year spell at @ChelseaFC will live long in the memory. An illustrious playing career comes to an end. Wishing you the best in retirement, @hazardeden10.”
On his part, Drinkwater wrote on Instagram: “Was a short period we spent together bro… but it was a honour! True magician. All the best.”
