The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, or EFCC, has denied arresting Eberechukwu Obiano, the immediate past First Lady of Anambra State.
The wife of former Anambra State Governor Willie Obiano is not in the EFCC’s custody, according to the agency.
The anti-graft agency had arrested and detained Eberechukwu for alleged fraud, according to posts on social media.
