Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, the newly elected governor of Ekiti State, met with former governor Ayodele Fayose on Wednesday at his home in Lagos.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, Oyebanji was the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for governor in the Ekiti election that took place two weeks ago.
Recall that Bisi Kolawole of the Peoples Democratic Party, who received 67,457 votes, lost to Oyebanji, a former Secretary to the State Government (SSG), who received 187,057 votes.

Segun Oni, the Social Democratic Party’s nominee for governor, finished in second with 82,211 votes.
After Oyebanji won the election to become governor, several Nigerians turned to social media to criticize Fayose and claim the former governor was an APC operative.
Oyebanji, the incoming governor of Ekiti, meets Fayose in Lagos.
In the meantime, Atiku Abubakar, the party’s presidential candidate, is apparently about to get the boot from Fayose.
On Wednesday, the former governor of Ekiti State dropped a clue in a post on his verified Twitter account.

After Muhammadu Buhari served two terms as president, it was Fayose’s turn to create Nigeria’s next leader.
Fayose remarked that it is either the turn of the south or nothing in a Yoruba phrase that is now associated with Bola Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate.
The PDP leader vowed to update Nigerians on his post shortly.
