ElDee the Don, a rapper from Nigeria, asserts that his father was the first to introduce the internet to that country.
In a recent interview with media personality JOI, the singer made this statement.
Despite majoring in architecture, he said he learned ICT from his father.
ElDee stated, “My dad was the one who introduced the internet to Nigeria for the very first time. Therefore, he established pretty much everyone; all the early businesses and all the first cybercafés you are familiar with. My popcy was the conduit for each of those connections.
“He was an IT guy. So, naturally, by association, I dey very align to IT even though I studied architecture.”
