These appointments were announced by Ngige during his speech at the Council of Legal Education’s final meeting, which took place over the weekend at the Bwari Headquarters of the Nigerian Law School.
According to news sources, the appointment is for a second four-year term.
The reappointment follows a goodbye dinner for 2019–2023 council members that was conducted last weekend in Abuja. In December of last year, the president once again selected Prof. Isa Chiroma SAN as the director general of the Nigerian Law School for a new four-year tenure.
The Nigerian Law School Support Initiative, a pet project of Ngige, was launched by the council with the active assistance of the Chiroma-led Nigerian Law School administration. Through this initiative, the council oversaw six Bar Final exams and undertook an unprecedented rehabilitation of the deteriorating school infrastructure.
