The Publicity Secretary of Nzuko-Ora Nnewi Sir Augustine Ikeh has been expelled as a member of Nzuko-Ora Nnewi Executive.
Augustine Ikeh was expelled today, Monday, 6th April 2020, after a meeting of Nnewi Stakeholders at Igwe Nnewi Palace.
Speaking on the removal, the Vice President of Nzuko-Ora Nnewi, Sir. Fabian Obi said that Sir Augustine Ikeh was removed following his insubordination and nonchalant attitude.
Speaking further, he said, “It is very unfortunate and regrettable that Augustine Ikeh instead of facing his legitimate duties attached to his office as the Publicity of Nnewi, deviated and engaged in acts capable of bringing crisis and divisions into Nzuko-Ora Nnewi, which also brings the town union into a bad light.
According to him, the recent publication of Augustine Ikeh, on the state government fight against Coronavirus and his attacks on the Commissioner of Information is a misguided attempt to portray Nzuko-Ora Nnewi as an enemy of the government.
