A fatal accident involving a Lexus RX 350 and a trailer has killed two persons on the spot between Effurun-Otor and Ekiugbo Junction near Ughelli, Delta State on the ever-busy East-West Road.
The accident that happened about 1 pm on Thursday, February 3, 2022 near Ughelli, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State involved a black coloured Lexus 350 with registration number BWR-975-CK rammed into a stationary trailer, the Lexus was coming from Agbarho and heading towards Ughelli while the stationary trailer was by the roadside.
Eyewitnesses said the Lexus jeep with four young boys suspected to be Yahoo boys ran into the stationary trailer and crushed two to death.

The deceased were later identified to be a welder and a mechanic working on the broken-down truck before they were crushed to death by the reckless Yahoo boys.
The scene was horrible as human parts and blood are littered all over the road.
The occupants of the jeep were rushed to the Ughelli Central Hospital while men of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) were on hand to help control traffic and evacuate the corpses.
