Femi Falana, a well-known human rights lawyer, has asked President Bola Tinubu to take a stand against corruption.
He voiced concern about high-profile politicians facing corruption accusations who continue to visit the Presidential Villa.

“Some of those who are going in and out of the Villa are standing trial for looting the treasury of this country,” he declared.
“So, wrong signals must not be sent to our people and the international community.”
The eminent attorney urged the President and his administration to lead effectively.
His exhortation to action was intended not only to the President, but also to other significant figures in attendance, including former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ooni of Ife, and former Commonwealth Secretary-General Emeka Anyaoku.
Falana advocated for a return to an era of honesty, in which anyone accused of corruption with a case pending before the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) or the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) would not be appointed to a position of authority.
