A former Nigerian governor has died on Friday, October 1st.
Commodore Ibrahim Keffas who was a former administrator during the military regime of Sanni Abacha in Delta and Cross river died on independence day.
The ex-ruler’s death was announced on AIT News. He died in an Abuja hospital at the age of 73 and was also buried on the same day due to his religion.

The deceased was a military administrator between 1993 and 1996. In 2007 he ran for governorship election but got defeated by Danbaba Suntai the Peoples Democratic Candidate (PDP) candidate.
