On Monday, the Edo State House of Assembly took a major step forward when it decided to impeach Philip Shaibu, the state’s deputy governor.
This move was made in response to the Assembly’s adoption of the report from the seven-member investigating team that looked into Shaibu’s alleged misbehaviour.
The seven-member panel, chaired by Justice S.A. Omonua, reportedly wrapped up its probe on Friday.
