According to Fanatik, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has begun talks about purchasing a new football club while still trying to sell the Blues.
Following the imposition of sanctions by the UK government, the Russian billionaire placed the Premier League team up for sale this month.
Due to his ties with Vladamir Putin, Abramovich’s assets were frozen as a direct result of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, preventing him from profiting from Chelsea.

The 55-year-old is reportedly keen to stay in football and has begun discussions to purchase Super Lig team Goztepe.
Turkey does not currently impose sanctions against Russians.
The reports of Abramovich opening talks with Goztepe come just 48 hours after his £750m super-yacht docked at a port in the resort of Marmaris.
