The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) reported on Saturday that 423 National Assembly seats from the February 25 election had been confirmed.
INEC also announced that additional elections will be held in 46 constituencies where results have not yet been announced.
The information was provided by the electoral umpire in a breakdown of results from last Saturday’s National Assembly elections.

According to INEC Chairman Professor Mahmood Yakubu, 98 of the 109 Senate seats have been declared, while 325 of the 360 House of Representatives seats have been chosen.
According to the results that have been declared thus far, the Labour Party (LP) has won a total of six (6) Senate seats and thirty-four (34) members in the House of Representatives.
The INEC Chairman stated that senators-elect will receive their certificates of return on Tuesday at the national collation centre in Abuja, while members of the house of representatives-elect will receive theirs on Wednesday.
The Labour Party, on the other hand, has told the All Progressives Congress that it has proof that Peter Obi, its presidential candidate, won the poll held last Saturday.

The Labour Party’s Obi-Datti presidential campaign organization issued this statement on Friday.
This comes after Bayo Onanuga, the All Progressives Congress presidential campaign council’s head of media and publicity, announced on Thursday that Tinubu would speak with Obi provided the latter produced evidence confirming he had won the election.
