Ice Prince was charged with three counts, including assault, preventing a police officer from performing his official responsibilities, and kidnapping.
The musician entered a not guilty plea, despite having the counts read to him.
After hearing the case, the court’s judge, Justice Taiwo Oyaniyi, rendered a decision and ruled that Ice Prince be kept in custody in the Ikoyi Prison.
Ice Prince was subsequently granted bail in the amount of N500,000 by Oyaniyi. He must also offer the court two trustworthy sureties.
He must remain in custody until he completes his bail condition, the magistrate said. He then put the case’s remaining proceedings on hold until September 7.

“Every protest and struggle is also for you to have better pay, equipment and proper retirement benefits. #FreeIcePrince”
