Ifeanyi Odoh, the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) governorship candidate in Ebonyi State, has been proclaimed wanted.
According to news sources, the Ebonyi Police Command has declared Odoh and nine others wanted in connection with the murder of a monarch known as Igbokwe Ewa.
Onome Onovwakpoyeya, the Ebonyi police spokesperson, confirmed the development in a statement on Monday.

According to him, “The Ebonyi State Police Command has declared the under-listed persons wanted in connection with the murder of his Royal Highness Eze Christopher Igboke Ewa of Umu-Ezekoha Community in Ezza North.”
Additional people wanted include Samuel Onyekachi Aligwe, Peter Orogwu (aka one boy), Chukwudi Aliewa (aka Ezza), Chika Ezealigbo, Nnaemeka Egede (aka Champaign), Nnabuike Okohu, Ogobuchi Agbom (aka Okiri), Nonso Obasi, and Ikechukwu Nwoba (aka Solid).
According to reports, the king, who was the traditional ruler of the Umu-Ezekoha community in the state’s Ezza North local government area, was assassinated last Monday in his rural residence by unknown gunmen.
Following the monarch’s death, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) accused the APGA governorship candidate of the act.

Odoh refuted the claim, stating the king, who is from the same local government as him, was like a parent to him.
It was also learned that Odoh and his Media Assistant, Charles Otu, could not be reached for comment on the matter because they did not answer their phones at the time of publication.
