The Sisters of Jesus the Saviour Generalate secretary-general, Zita Ihedoro, confirmed the kidnapping in a statement on Sunday.
Sani responded by denouncing the kidnapping of the Catholic nuns by armed assailants in a message sent on Tuesday via his Twitter account, calling the situation regrettable and tragic.
