According to reports, a well-known native doctor by the name of Nze Law and his domestic staff beat one of his housekeepers to death for allegedly eating meat.
According to information obtained by news organisations, the event that allegedly occurred on Sunday night prompted youths from the community of Amandugba in the Isu Local Government Area—where the murdered adolescent is from—to go on the rampage in Amankwo village, Alaenyi Ogwa, in the Mbaitoli LGA, where the incident occurred.
According to sources, the native doctor killed the victim and then made sure that his body was buried in a nearby bush without the victim’s family’s knowledge, according to Newsmen.

The deceased, identified only as Sunny, was allegedly beaten to death by the local doctor and his other domestic helpers for allegedly consuming a piece of meat stored by the native doctor without the authorization of his principle, according to one of the sources who spoke with Newsmen.
Youths from the Amandugba hamlet flocked to the native doctor’s house to exact revenge as a result of the development, but he had already left. This generated fear in the neighbourhood.
Further information revealed that state police command agents were called in to control the situation as the teenagers attempted to damage Nze Law’s mansion.
A village source told Newsmen that “the deceased youth was subjected to general beating by the native doctor and his domestic servants because he ate a piece of roasted meat without the consent of his principal”.
One of the sources in the community said, “They beat him up until he gave up the ghost and was buried in a nearby bush without even contacting his family.

“So, when the information got to his people in Amandugba, a neighbouring community to Ogwa, the youth of the community felt bad, mobilised themselves and stormed the home of the native doctor at Amankwo to avenge the death of one of them.
“But luckily for Nze Law, he had already got the information of the plan to invade his house and fled before their arrival.
“So, by the time the youths arrived at Nze Law’s house, some policemen also showed up and stopped them from carrying out whatever plan they had against Nze Law.”
Henry Okoye, the spokesman for the Imo State police command, told Newsmen he had not yet received the information but vowed to provide it as soon as it was available.
