After the fire at the illicit oil refinery facility in Abacheke Kpofire in Egbema village, Ohaji/Egbema LGA of Imo State, an unknown number of persons are still missing.
According to reports gathered by Anaedoonline.ng on Sunday, 109 dead have been discovered so far from the horrific blaze.
Unrest in the region has been sparked by a fire that happened on Friday night.

Ifeanyi Nnaji, the National Emergency Management Agency’s Head of Operations, has already verified that 20 people had perished in the tragic fire.
On Sunday, Nnaji updated the public on the latest developments, saying that 109 dead have been retrieved so far, with others still missing.
He said, “It was more serious than we envisaged. As of this evening, we have counted 109 bodies on the ground while countless others fell into the river and others died inside the refinery.”
The Imo State Commissioner for Petroleum Resources, Goodluck Opiah, revealed that the operator of the illegal refinery identified as Okenze Onyenwoke is currently at large.
It was also gathered that about six vehicles were burnt during the incident.
