The national leadership of the Trade Union Congress (TUC) and the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) have decided to halt their ongoing strike in Imo State.
Remember that organized Labor, on Wednesday of last week, announced an indefinite strike in the state in response to the disruption of the celebration of Workers’ Day by thugs who were allegedly working for the administration.
According to a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that the state administration and the unions signed on Monday, the strike’s postponement would allow all outstanding concerns to be peacefully resolved in a cooperative environment.
