The governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, presented five brand-new Innoson Sports Utility Vehicles to the state’s judges.
At the State High Court in Umuahia, where he presented the vehicles to Justice Lilian Abai, the State Chief Judge, Otti pledged that his administration would give the highest priority to doing whatever was required to give the court its due.
He said that by making the gesture, he was keeping his pledge to the judges.

The Governor stated that he is committed to ensuring the administration of justice and the rule of law in the state and added that those who undertake the work should have the best conducive environment to carry out their duties. The Governor was represented by his chief of staff, Caleb Ajagba.
He emphasised that he has never hidden his respect for the legal system and the judiciary, and he praised the friendly relationship between the executive and judicial branches of government.
Justice Abai, the state’s chief judge, said that Otti has demonstrated that he is a governor who is supportive of the judiciary while accepting the paperwork and keys to the vehicles.
She thanked the governor for supplying the judges’ automobiles and expressed her hope for improved collaboration with the government.
