Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has appointed music singer Martins Okechukwu Justice, also known as J. Martins, and 29 other people.
The Governor appointed J. Martins, a native of Ohafia LGA, as his Special Assistant on Entertainment and Tourism.
Mr Kasie Uko, Otti’s Chief news Secretary, announced the appointments in a news release on Wednesday morning.

Mr. John Sam Obuh, the former coach of Nigeria’s Under-17 national team, has been named as the new Chairman of the Abia Warriors Football Club.
Mr Ugochukwu Okoroafor, Special Adviser, Monitoring and Evaluation; Mr Iheanacho Obioma, Special Adviser on Political Matters; Professor Ijeoma Iheukwumere, Senior Special Assistant on Environment; Mr Odinakachib Eric Eme, Senior Special Assistant on Multilateral and Donor Agencies; AND Nwaka Inem, Special Adviser, Trade, Commerce and Industry.
Others are Magdalene Ugoanusi, Senior Special Assistant, Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs; George Chidozie, Special Assistant, Special Duties; Okorougo Aji, Special Assistant on Lands and Housing; Obioma Mgbe, Special Assistant on Transport; Chukwunenye Alajemba, Special Assistant on Homeland Security; and Ven. Joshua Onyeike, General Manager, Abia State Oil Producing Communities Commission and Development, ASOPADEC.

Other appointees are Oluebube Olunna Chukwu, Senior Special Assistant, Due Process; Kennedy Wiper, Special Assistant on Religious Activities; Col. According to Uko, the appointments are with immediate effect.
