The Garko Local Government area of Kano State’s supplemental election has been tallied in favor of the New Nigeria People Party (NNPP).
Abba Ibrahim of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who was his closest rival, was beaten by Hon. Murtala Muhammad Kadage, who will now represent the constituency in the State House of Assembly.
According to news sources, Professor Suleiman Mudi of Bayero University Kano, the returning officer, declared the findings on Saturday.

Muhammad Kadage received the most votes and met the legal standards, according to Mudi.
“Having satisfied the requirements of the law and scored the highest number of votes, I hereby declare Murtala Muhammad Kadage of the NNPP as the winner of the Garko Local Government state assembly election supplementary election,” he said.
After winning, Kadage thanked the residents of Garko Local Government Area for their support and vowed to further their interests.
