Reigning Premier League champions Liverpool on Monday night, September 28, continued with their impressive performance this season beating Arsenal 3-1 in EPL battle at Anfield.

After winning their first two games of the season, Mikel Arteta and his men traveled to Anfield with the hopes of getting a good result, but they met more determined Liverpool side.
Arsenal started the encounter on a good note as the likes of Willian and and Xhaka dictated the game in the midfield for the first 12 minutes.
The Gunners got their goal in the 25 minutes through Alexandre Lacazette who sent Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker the wrong way.
But the hosts responded three minutes later through Sadio Mane who scored brilliant equalizer for the Premier League champions.

Alexander-Arnold provided the assist which helped Andrew Robertson to score the second goal for Liverpool in the 34th minute.
The first half however ended with Liverpool taking a 2-1 lead into the dressing room at Anfield.
Arsenal came out with a different style of play in the second half, but they were unable to get the goal they needed to level up.
Diogo Jota on his debut for Liverpool scored the winner in the 88th minute as Liverpool recorded a 3-1 win over Arteta and his men.
