The Labour Party’s (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, says he was overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from supporters in Edo State on Friday.
Obi, who was in the state for a campaign event, used his Twitter account to share his experience.

As part of his activities in Edo State on Friday, Obi also paid a courtesy visit to the Oba of Benin.

Speaking on his visit, the LP presidential candidate called the gathering that greeted him as “humongous” and the reception as “beautiful and friendly.”
His tweet read, “I am in the palace of the Oba of Benin; greeted by a humongous crowd, wonderful reception and warm hospitality… I am grateful, and delighted to be here. -PO.”
