Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), has continued to travel various northern states in search of support ahead of the upcoming election.
Earlier, news outlets claimed that the former Anambra State Governor, together with his running mate, Datti Ahmed, Pat Utomi, aides, and party chieftains, were met at the Yola international airport by a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal.
Following the town hall meeting, Peter Obi joined his supporters for a presidential campaign rally in Numan, Adamawa State.

Despite the fact that Adamawa is the home state of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, a large crowd attended Peter Obi’s campaign rally.
In one of the videos seen online, fans were cheering and singing, stating they will humiliate the opposition parties who insist Peter Obi cannot be president.
When the LP flagbearer and Datti were properly presented to speak to them, the crowd erupted in applause.
Meanwhile, Josef Onoh, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has accused some leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of anti-party activities.
Onoh made the charge in response to the recent suspension of former Enugu State Governor Senator Chimaroke Nnamani by the PDP’s National Working Committee (NWC) for alleged anti-party behavior.

Onoh told Newsmen on Monday that slamming Nnamani with such a punitive punishment without following due process was a tremendous injustice.
He claimed that PDP Presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, National Chairman Iyorcha Ayu, and Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto state had engaged in more anti-party activities than Nnamani.
