Afrobeats star Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has returned to his hometown of Benin, Edo State, ahead of his eagerly awaited homecoming concert. Mavin Records, his label, shared a video of his arrival on X.com, with the caption, “Benin, your illustrious son; The Prince of Afrobeats – Rema is Home!”
The concert is set to take place on August 30 at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, a much-anticipated event that Rema first announced in July. This performance follows a previously planned event in December 2023, which was canceled due to health concerns.
