Senator Nkechi Nwaogu, a senior member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), stated on Sunday that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration is moving in the correct path.
In response to Nkiruka Onyejiocha, Dr. Betta Edu, Hannatu Musawa, Doris Uzoka, Stella Okotette, Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, Lola Adejo, and Mrs. Imam Suleiman Ibrahim being listed on the President’s list of ministerial nominees for Senate confirmation, the federal legislator made this statement.
Nwaogu characterised the cabinet list Tinubu submitted as a 35 percent affirmative action commitment.

The native of Abia State thanked President Tinubu for keeping the federal character principles in all of his appointments thus far.
The Tinubu/Shettima Coordinator also praised the President for choosing Hon. Samuel Onuigbo, a former Ikwuano/Umuahia lawmaker in the House of Representatives, to serve on the board of the North East Development Commission, or NEDC.
Nwaogu also urged Nigerians to support President Tinubu’s administration, which she described as “a government in the right direction, with a goal to solve the social, economic challenges of Nigeria,” and urged them to be patient because Tinubu’s economic policies would have a significant positive impact.
Based on the candidates’ credentials, relevant experience, and accomplishments, she expressed confidence that the President’s nominations would help him succeed in modernising the nation.
