Sales Girl Allegedly Arrested Over Missing Goods
It was reported that Miss Calista Emeh from Ahiazu Mbaise in Imo State, a former staff of Eagle Mobile System, Owerri branch may face a jail sentence if found guilty of theft as alleged by her employer following her inability to account for 48 units of the phones in her custody.
According to reports on Tuesday, the CEO of the company Mr. Okechukwu alleged that the company noticed discrepancies in Miss Calista’s record during its audit exercise in March 2019.

She was said to have later been deployed to the marketing department following the incident.
Mr. Okechukwu, stated that the ordeal had started during the official stock taking to hand over to the new stock keeper when the audit team discovered that there are about 48 units of mobile phones which Miss Emeh had claimed were available but were then missing during the audit.
She allegedly confessed to have sold the phones, accessories and other devices and used the money totaling over nine hundred thousand Naira to solve family problems.
Miss Calista was subsequently arrested by Owerri Urban Police after the case was reported to them.

The CEO said the former employee had confessed to having given some of the products in one Mr. Ozioma Eze, a former employee of Eagle Mobile System Owerri branch on the agreement that he will be paying back gradually to the embattled Miss Calista.
Meanwhile, the police have launched a manhunt of Mr. Ozioma Eze.
It was gathered that the IPO in charge of the case, Eme Ozua said investigations are currently ongoing on the matter when contacted.
He also said Miss Calista will be arraigned as soon as investigations are concluded.
