Nigeria may experience more shocking attacks greater than what was experienced when terrorists attacked the Nigerian Defence Academy in Kaduna, Rev. Father Ejike Mbaka has warned.
Mbaka, a fiery preacher who is the Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria dropped the warning as Nigeria battles insecurity on many fronts.
He warned that what may befall Nigeria in the future is worse than what Afghanistan is experiencing at the moment.
According to him, God’s intervention and a change of mind by President Muhammadu Buhari from attacking perceived enemies and facing the real problems are the only things that can avert further attacks.
Speaking during a sermon to his church members, Mbaka also called for the release of the embattled IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, stating that it has become clear that Kanu is not the problem of Nigeria.
He added that he is already aware that his declaration might bring a lot of backlashes for him, but that won’t stop him from saying the truth and doing God’s work.
“Did you not hear that yesterday (Saturday), bandits entered into our most secured place in this country, Nigerian Defence Academy? The NDA, the impenetrable place in Nigeria and killed some Nigerian military officers.
“And people are still talking of Father Mbaka and Adoration. And some Catholics are still attacking the worship of Blessed Sacrament through adoration; what are they going there to do? The country is sinking just as I told them last time. The arrest of Nnamdi Kanu; will it solve any problem? Will it stop any agitation? Now, the attack on the NDA; is it Nnamdi Kanu now?
“Is it not better he is released. Since he is still under their custody and NDA could be perforated, violated and mesmerised, what is the hope of this country if it can happen in Nigeria Defence Academy? Where else is safe?
“As I told you people last two months that what you are seeing is just the beginning of the trouble and that the main trouble is coming. This one that they did (NDA attack) is just the elementary part of it. The secondary part of it is still coming.
“I am only asking God to intervene because what is happening in Afghanistan right now; if God is not ready to help us, Nigeria’s situation will be worse in the future. You are free to attack Father Mbaka and criticize me, that one is your problem.
“I am doing my prophetic work, and I don’t need apology or affirmation or support or approval from anybody apart from the Holy Spirit who sent me on this risky assignment. Even if I want to stop it, I can’t even stop it,” Mbaka said while delivering his homily on Sunday.

IPOB wondered if bandits with the aid of alleged compromised Nigerian military can successfully attack the NDA and kill Igbo military officers, why will one think Fulani bandits can’t attack DSS headquarters with the aim of killing Nnamdi Kanu.
A statement by IPOB’s Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, entitled, “Attack on NDA: Fulani planning to hand Nigeria over to Jihadists like Afghanistan was handed over to Taliban—IPOB, said the shameful story of NDA Kaduna attack was just a confirmation of the age-old plan to accomplish the wicked agenda of Islamizing Nigeria.
IPOB, however, warned that if anything untoward happens to its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, Nigeria will cease to be before the plan of Islamizing it will be achieved, telling all the people that have been talking against its leader and IPOB to cover their faces in shame over the level their country Nigeria is descending and degenerating to.
IPOB statement read in part, “We the global family of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, ably led by our great leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, wish to put the world on notice of the wicked plot by Nigeria Government and its security agencies to turn Nigeria into another Afghanistan.”
“Tuesday’s coordinated attack on the heavily guarded Nigeria Defense Academy, NDA Kaduna, by rag-tag Fulani bandits with ease and without resistance was just a confirmation of the age-old plan to accomplish this wicked agenda of Islamizing Nigeria.
“This attack at the NDA Kaduna is also an indication that they may be planning to attack the Headquarters of the Department of State Services, DSS, where our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is currently detained.
‘If Fulani bandits with the aide of compromised Fulani controlled Military can successfully attack the NDA Kaduna as heavily guarded as it is, killing Igbo military officer, why will one think Fulani bandits can’t attack DSS headquarters to kill Nnamdi Kanu?
“The Fulani-controlled federal government knows that our leader is their greatest headache. Our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, predicted what is happening now and how the cabal running the country wants to actualise the Fulanization and Islamization of Nigeria agenda.
“Many people did not believe him, but the unfolding events leave no one in doubt of the reality of this wicked agenda. Anything they can do to eliminate our leader will not be considered too expensive, but our God will frustrate their evil plot. Those who were winning their dirty mouth against our leader and IPOB should now bury their faces in shame over the level their country Nigeria is descending and degenerating.
“We, therefore, want to place Nigeria on notice that nothing should happen to our leader while in her custody. Should anything untoward happen to our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu while in custody, Nigeria will regret the day it was amalgamated, the country will cease to exist before their Islamization agenda will be achieved.
“We equally want to place the world on notice that Nigeria should be held responsible if anything befalls our leader. Biafrans are also placed on red alert about disturbing security situation in Nigeria and the possibility of an attack against our territories.”

A Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Mike Ozekhome, says the attack on the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna, was expected.
Reacting to Tuesday’s brazen attack by bandit terrorists, the constitutional lawyer stated that the sad incident didn’t come to him as a surprise or shock.
In an interview with Newsmen, Ozekhome asked the Muhammadu Buhari-led federal government to wake up and address the rising insecurity in the country.
The popular lawyer, who was miffed by the attack, said the invasion of the military school shows that nowhere is safe in the country.
He said, “I am not surprised at all. When you point one finger at others, be sure that four are pointing at you. The words of the German cleric, Martin Niemoller, after the Jewish holocaust between 1940 and 1945 during World War II are very apt here.
“Let the Buhari government go and read them and they will understand why the chicken is coming home to roost so soon.
“When bandits attack a school for the training of military men and audaciously demand ransom, then Armageddon is here.”

On Wednesday, President Muhammadu Buhari told terrorists that attacked the Nigerian Defence Academy on Tuesday that their end is near.
The President in his reaction after Tuesday’s brazen attack by the terrorists said the morale of the Nigerian Military is not dampened by the incident.
While commiserating with the families of the victims of the attack, the Nigerian leader vowed that terrorists, bandits, kidnappers, and all other criminals will be squarely dealt with by the security agencies.
He also cautioned those gloating over the incident to desist and join hands with the government in tackling insecurity and making Nigeria a better place for all.
Buhari made the submission in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina.
According to him, “The attack launched on the facility of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) on Tuesday, rather than throw a dampener into the morale of our Armed Forces as it is intended to, will buoy their determination to make a decisive end of criminality in the country.”
“Noting that the attack, which led to the loss of lives, came at a time that the military had put insurgents, bandits, kidnappers, and other types of criminals on the retreat, the President says the heinous action would accelerate the total uprooting of evil in the polity, which members of the Armed Forces are solidly resolved to accomplish in the shortest possible time.”
“Commiserating with the families who lost their loved ones, and praying God to comfort them, President Buhari vowed that the deceased would not die in vain, as the degenerate act would have consequences that will eventually clean the country of vermin, and emancipate the polity from deliberate, targeted and contrived atrocious acts.
“The President thanks all Nigerians who value and appreciate the efforts of our military, and urges those playing hateful politics with the dastardly act to desist, noting that rather than recriminations, this is the time for all patriots and people of goodwill to support and encourage those who are in the vanguard of the battle against wickedness in the land.”

On Wednesday 25th August 2021, The Coalition of Northern Elders for Peace and Development (CNEPD) has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to sack the National Security Adviser, (NSA), Major General Babagana Monguno (Rtd).
Reacting to the brazen attack on the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) in Afaka, Kaduna State on Tuesday, the group said Monguno and the service chiefs should be held responsible for the attack.
In a statement on Wednesday by its National Coordinator, Engr. Zana Goni, the Northern elders advised the President to immediately sack Monguno for incompetence.
The group berated President Buhari for refusing to sack Monguno as the security adviser when he replaced the service chiefs some months ago.
It stated that the attack on the NDA was a result of the failure of the country’s intelligence network, demanding a quick review of the nation’s security architecture.
According to the group, the fact that a fortified military institution could be so easily invaded by terrorists without resistance shows that no part of this country or anyone is safe.
The elders, however, blamed stakeholders in the Northern region over their long silence “in the face of unbearable criminal acts by armed herdsmen and insecurity across the country”.
The statement reads: “We woke up to the sad news of the attack on the NDA, leaving two officers killed and another abducted by bandits with heavy hearts. If it was not for the confirmation of this unbelievable action by the Academy’s spokesperson, Bashir Jajira, we would have still been in doubt.
“The fact that a fortified military institution could be so easily invaded by armed militias without resistance has left us with the conclusion that no part of this country and no citizen, no matter his or her status is safe again.
“Without mincing words, we wish to attribute this ugly development to intelligence failure and gaps in the capacity of our armed forces. We wish to strongly say here that the attack is a slap on the Nigerian intelligence community and the armed forces.
“The retention of the National Security Adviser, General Babagana Monguno at the time the president listened to the voice of reason and replaced service chiefs, may be contributing to the continuously deteriorating security situation in the country.
“Given the situation, we wish to humbly and respectively appeal to our dear President, Muhammadu Buhari, to as a matter of urgent national importance, replace the NSA, whose tenure since his assumption of office, has been characterized by heightened Boko Haram activities, banditry, kidnap for ransom and other heinous crimes without end in sight.
We reinstate unequivocally that Monguno has failed to provide useful advice to address the scourging insecurity in the country and therefore, does not deserve a continuous stay in office.
“As Northern elders, we have found it very important to call on President Buhari to remove the National Security Adviser, Major-General Babagana Monguno (retd), whose office and responsibilities are critical to the achievement of comprehensive security all over the country but hasn’t used the high esteem of his office in any productive ways since his appointment as NSA.
‘The reason for this call is not farfetched. We believe that Major-Gen Monguno was part of the gross failure associated with the tenure of the former security chiefs and his continued presence in the office will make the success Buhari intended to achieve with the changes very difficult, if not completely impossible.
‘It is important that the NSA be replaced and the security architecture of the nation reviewed so that the process of injecting fresh blood can be completed.
‘We believe that the service chiefs need a clean slate to succeed as to avoid being tied to the springs of the past fatal failures. This call is both patriotic and totally apolitical as expected from a responsible group of elders in our dear region.
‘”It would be to the highest interests of Nigeria for the president to heed this call and act on it immediately.”

“If our defence academy is so vulnerable to bandits, what about us who they are expected to defend”?
