The family of Nnamdi Kanu, the imprisoned leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has threatened to use Prima Facie evidence against President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
Kanu’s brother, Kanunta, claimed the family was forced to take such step since the federal government refused to clarify the agitator’s detention, extradition, and prosecution.
Kanunta stated in a statement released yesterday that the family wants to know the specific location where the IPOB commander was apprehended.

“President Mohammadu Buhari’s government has neglected to provide answers on the methods used in extraditing the freedom warrior,” Kanunta.
“As a family, we want to know the precise place from which our brother was intercepted, as claimed by the Nigerian government, and why no explanation has been provided to this day.”
“The Federal Government’s actions for us amount to criminality, and you can’t pile illegality on top of illegality and expect it to hold up.”
As a result, if the Court does not follow constitutional law, we will be forced to use prima facie evidence against the federal government.”
Kanu was reportedly apprehended again in June of last year in an African country thought to be Kenya.
