The Executive Chairman of Oilserv Limited, Chief Sir. Bobby Emeka Okwuosa has donated Critical Health Intervention Drugs to Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH), Nnewi, Anambra State.
Sir Emeka Okwuosa made the donations through his foundation yesterday, tuesday, 15th February, to NAUTH and other hospitals in Anambra State.
Other hospitals includes; Iyienu Mission Hospital Ogidi in Idemili LGA, Akwudo Nnewi Diocesan Mission Hospital Nnewi, in Nnewi North LGA, Oraifite Referral Health Centre, Ozubulu Referral Health Centre and Ihembosi Referral Health Centre, all in Ekwusigo local govt.

According to reports made available to Anaedoonline.ng the drugs which were received in the various hospitals includes Azithromycin for wide variety of bacterial infections, Tamsulosi used to treat men who have symptoms of enlarged Prostrate Gland, Simvastatin, used to treat high cholesterol & Triglyceride(fat) levels in the Blood, prevents medical problems (eg. heart attacks, strokes) caused by clogged vessels, Omeprazole delayed-release capsule, reduces the amount of acid in stomach, Atorvastatin Calcium lowers ‘bad’ cholesterol and fats, as well as raises ‘good’ cholesterol in the blood.
Anaedoonline.ng learnt that Sir Emeka Okwuosa has directed that the drugs which is valuated at N11M should be administered free of charge.
