Obiano Finally Reveals Why He Avoided South-east Governors Meeting
Obiano has previously stated that following his term as governor, he would travel to the United States to relax.
Obiano resided in the United States after retiring as a Chartered accountant from Texaco before being recalled to Nigeria to serve as governor.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) put Obiano on its radar last year, suggesting that he owed the government answers and could try to flee the country.
Obiano was out of the country at the time of the proclamation, and there were rumors that he would never return, but he returned and called the bluff of those who were making accusations about his effort to flee.
