The Dr Oby Ezekwesili-led Anambra state gubernatorial transition committee handed a 120-page final report of its conclusions to Governor-Elect Chukwuma Soludo on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Agulu, after roughly 6 weeks of detailed discussions and arguments.
The committee shortened the report from approximately 2000 pages received from 17 subtask groups and presented it. The committees are tasked with presenting the current state of affairs and making recommendations for short, medium, and long-term initiatives to ensure the seamless transition of power.

The transition committee established priorities, policies, and a program for Soludo with the support of the state government’s internal transition team, government departments and boards, and other other parties that assisted in arriving at its proposal.
The committee’s recommendations are anticipated to be implemented by the Governor-administration elect’s after he is formally inaugurated as the Executive Governor of Anambra State on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at the State Government House in Awka.
As the state prepares to transition towards the 4th Industrial Revolution and a post-oil economy, Ndi-Anambra are urged to work together to build on the foundations laid by the state’s founding fathers.
