Deji Adeyanju, a former Youth Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), said on Monday that Peter Obi, one of the PDP’s presidential hopefuls and former governor of Anambra State, “doesn’t stand a chance in PDP.”
According to Anaedoonline.ng, despite the fact that Adeyanju admits Obi is one of the most popular contenders for the 2023 presidential election, he would not be able to win. Adeyanju wondered where Obi would collect the votes of the delegates.

“Peter Obi is one of the most popular candidates for the next election but he doesn’t stand any chance in PDP. Where will he get delegates votes to win from? This is one person I would love PDP to give their ticket to because of equity. Igbos should naturally have the right of first refusal in this but politics is just strange,” Adeyanju wrote on his verified Facebook page.
All things Being equal, the PDP will conduct a national convention to nominate its Presidential candidate for the 2023 general elections on the 28 and 29 of May, 2022.
