Muhammadu Buhari, the former president of Nigeria, has declared that he does not miss leading the country.
Buhari reportedly said as much in an interview with the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA), according to Anaedoonline.ng.
When asked in the interview preview that was published on X on Sunday what he missed most about his time in office, the former president answered, “Miss. I don’t believe I miss anything.
Because he was being “harassed,” Buhari had earlier declared he would not miss his time in office.
The former president claimed in December 2022 that although he was trying his hardest for Nigerians, it was insufficient.
He said, “I believe I’m trying my best, but still my best is not good enough.
“I wonder if I am going to miss much. I think I’m being harassed.”
Buhari when asked about the nature of his illness when he was president said, “I think only my daughter can honestly answer this question.”
The entire Buhari interview, which was conducted before he left office on May 29, 2023, will air on Monday around 10:30 p.m.
