According to reports, a rat wandered into a cannabis exhibit storage area at one of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency’s headquarters (NDLEA).
On Monday, Femi Babafemi, the NDLEA’s spokesman, tweeted about the situation.
He clarified that after sneaking into the exhibit area on Friday, the rat began acting strangely.
The rat, which Babafemi claimed was impaired by cannabis, is constantly seen whirling.

According to the NDLEA, this should serve as a warning to individuals who are active in drug use.
He wrote, “Stray rat gets high on C/S: So this rat on Friday strayed into the exhibit room where cannabis was stored in one of @ndlea_nigeria commands and few minutes after, it began to misbehave.”
“Need I say more? The message is clear. #SayNoToMindAlteringSubstances#”
Cannabis is being used by at least 10.6 million Nigerians, according to the NDLEA, despite being illegal and being the most misused illicit substance in the nation.
Nigeria presently forbids the use of cannabis.
Despite the fact that there are supporters of legalization, the agency has stated that the risks outweigh the advantages.
