Rochas Okorocha, the congressman representing Imo West senatorial constituency, has passed the All Progressives Congress presidential screening.
Around 10 p.m. on Tuesday, the former governor of Imo State rushed the venue of the screening, the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja.
After fulfilling the bail term imposed by a Federal High Court on Tuesday, Okorocha was allowed entry to the presidential screening.

Okorocha was granted bail in the amount of N500 million and a surety in the same amount by a Federal High Court in Abuja.
This comes after the former Governor was charged with 17 counts by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
Okorocha was vetted by the presidential screening committee, which was chaired by John Odigie-Oyegun, the party’s former national chairman.
Following the screening, the presidential candidate thanked his fans for their support and stated that Nigeria requires a detribalized leader like him to steer the country’s affairs.
Okorocha pledged to address the media in the coming days on the matter before the EFCC.

Okorocha would be trying to beat over Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, the party’s national leader, and Bola Tinubu, former minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, and others for the APC presidential ticket.
