Former New People’s Democratic Party (nPDP) national publicity secretary and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has praised Rivers State Governor Siminialayi Fubara for purportedly ditching former predecessor Nyesom Wike and siding with former Transportation Minister Chibuike Amaechi.
Eze issued a warning to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, about his purported habit of unrestrained and domineering indulgence, which was intended to oppose his sense of entitlement and lordship over the public and private lives and concerns of others.
Eze was responding to the controversy surrounding Wike and Fubara, which came to light over the weekend and has since evolved into a secessionist movement aimed at securing freedom and self-determination for Fubara and his administration.
Rivers State Governor, Fubara Faces Impeachment Amidst Political Turmoil
According to the former nPDP spokesman, Fubara has proven his worth by following his gut and standing up to actions that are morally repugnant.
There was a rift among the Rivers State House of Assembly members on Sunday when some of them started the impeachment process against Fubara, according to Anaedoonline.ng.
According to Eze, Wike chose to take action against Governor Fubara because he supported Amaechi’s people-focused initiatives for the state’s advancement.
In addition, Fubara disapproved of Wike’s attempts to exclude him from all political activities and decisions both inside and outside the state, to the point where he was advised not to attend any political gatherings in Abuja, including the PDP-Governors Forum, where he is influential as Vice Chair.
The State House of Assembly’s majority leader, Edison Ehie, was fired after rejecting the attempt to remove the governor from office on the grounds that he had not committed any crimes that may result in his impeachment.

However, according to Anaedoonline.ng, Edison has since been chosen to serve as Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly.
Eze called on the people of Rivers State to unite behind the governor in order to protect the state from an extremely immoral emperor who believed he had taken control of Rivers State and its inhabitants.
“Rivers State is so sophisticated to be enslaved by an individual of the calibre of Nyesom Wike.
“The attempt to commence impeachment process against Rivers State Governor just because he wants to revive most of Amaechi’s vision like the Songhai and the Greater Port Harcourt all aimed at making Rivers State not only self-sufficient and empowering most youths in Rivers State is most sad and unfortunate.
“Let me reiterate that Wike should not attempt to reignite his illegal use of five lawmakers to commence impeachment threat against Amaechi by July 2013 because this time around his plot against Fubara will fail abysmally.

“Rivers State is not Wike’s personal property for him to decide on the destiny of the State.
Members of the Rivers State House of Assembly were advised by the APC Chief to attempt to learn about the procedure for impeaching a governor.
Eze urged Governor Fubara to continue the battle and make sure he escapes the slavery the FCT Minister has imposed upon him.
