Air Peace has issued a warning following reports of fraudulent activities targeting passengers attempting to book flights to the UK through a cloned version of its official website.
The caution came shortly after the airline celebrated the launch of its pioneering direct flights from Nigeria to the United Kingdom.
In a statement shared on X (formerly Twitter), the airline disclosed that scammers had replicated its website, using elements of its branding to create a fake booking platform.
The announcement emphasized: “Our attention has been drawn to the existence of a website “www.flyairpeace.uk” claiming to be an official platform and deceiving unsuspecting individuals.”

“We wish to clarify that this fraudulent site is not affiliated with Air Peace. The sole and authentic website of Air Peace remains “www.flyairpeace.com.”
The public was urged to disregard the imposter site, which masquerades as Air Peace and exploits passengers.
Air Peace commenced daily flights to Gatwick, London, on March 30, 2024, marking a significant milestone for the airline.
