Nicholas, a Nigerian who is fighting for his life, was beaten with his friend, whom the thugs mistook for an accomplice, while the South African criminal who stole and sold the laptop to Nicholas was unharmed.
Nicholas was now fighting for his life at Kimberly Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit, where doctors reported his brain had changed as a result of the beating, allowing water to enter his brain.
Despite the fact that the water has been drained, doctors believe he has a 50/50 chance of survival, warning that even if he lives, he may never be able to work again.
Nicholas had purchased a stolen laptop from another South African, and the owner of the laptop captured the South African who had stolen it and delivered him to the Nigerian who had purchased it.
The Nigerian who had purchased it had supposedly sold it to another Nigerian.
